The best cloud phones for AI agents in 2026, compared.

Phonebox: pay-per-second phones for any agent
Phonebox is the simplest model on this list: one price, $0.06 per phone-minute, billed per second, with no plan, no seats and no LLM credits. You bring the agent, whether Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, an MCP client or your own product, and Phonebox brings a persistent Android phone that keeps its apps and sign-ins while parked for free.
Choose it when your agent already exists and needs Android, usage is bursty, and you want a forgotten phone to park itself instead of billing all night. Skip it when you need iOS, phone numbers or SMS.
Mobilerun: hosted phones with a bundled agent
Mobilerun, from the team behind the open-source Droidrun framework, sells hosted Android and iPhone devices with its own task-running agent, eSIM, receive-only SMS numbers and residential IPs. Plans include device minutes and credits that cover agent steps.
Choose it when you want a hosted agent and telephony extras in one bill. Compare carefully if you already run your own agent: you pay for a plan, and agent credits sit alongside device time. See Phonebox vs Mobilerun.
Limrun: iOS and Android for coding agents
Limrun gives coding agents remote iOS simulators, Xcode and Android emulators through a CLI, SDKs and MCP. If your agent builds iOS apps too, it is the obvious one to evaluate. For Android-only work with no monthly plan, Phonebox is simpler.
QA platforms: Mobile Next, Appetize, Genymotion, BrowserStack, AWS
These are excellent at what they were built for: running test suites and streaming apps for review. Most now expose an API or an MCP server, but they price around test minutes, parallel slots and seats. Pick them when the job is a regression suite. Firebase Test Lab is deprecated, with a shutdown announced for September 30, 2027.

Questions
What is the best cloud phone for AI agents?
It depends on the job. For a coding agent or your own product that needs to operate Android apps with pay-as-you-go billing and no subscription, Phonebox is built for that: hosted MCP, CLI, SDK and REST at $0.06 per phone-minute, billed per second, with free parked phones. Mobilerun bundles hosted phones with its own LLM agent and SMS add-ons on monthly plans. Multilogin and GeeLark are cheaper per minute but built for social media multi-accounting. BrowserStack and AWS Device Farm are built for QA test suites.
Which cloud phones have an MCP server?
As of October 2026, Phonebox (https://phonebox.dev/mcp), Mobilerun and Limrun offer hosted MCP servers. BrowserStack publishes an open-source MCP server that runs locally. Multilogin and GeeLark do not offer an official MCP server.
What is the cheapest cloud phone for AI agents?
Per minute, multi-account tools such as GeeLark and Multilogin are cheapest, at under one cent per minute, but they are sold around monthly plans and profiles rather than agent APIs. Among agent-first platforms, Mobilerun's overage rate is $0.03 per minute on top of a plan, Limrun's Android rate is $0.04 to $0.06 per minute within credit plans, and Phonebox is $0.06 per minute with no plan at all.
Is Firebase Test Lab still available?
Firebase Test Lab is deprecated and Google has announced a full shutdown on September 30, 2027, pointing users to the Developer Device Platform on Google Cloud.
Multi-account cloud phones: Multilogin and GeeLark
Multilogin and GeeLark are the cheapest per minute, and they are built for running many social media accounts with profiles, proxies and RPA. Both have added APIs and agent toolkits, but neither offers an official MCP server, and the product is organised around accounts rather than an agent's loop.
